Vista 3G16 allows you to comply with all expectations concerning functionality and reliability required by security and logistics applications nowadays. Its small dimensions and low power consumption level, along with powerful hardware, enable you to take advantage of the following characteristics:
Expand All
  • Multitasking Open Platform
The concept that inspired the development of the new Vista 3G16 was the flexibility that customers were asking for and the ability to tailor the system according to the needs of each client. Clients can take advantage of the hundreds of resources available within a multitasking operating system provided by a hardware-based platform composed of multiple peripherals and/or modules. This is a significant difference when talking about GPS fleet tracking solutions since most of the devices of this sort work in a predefined manner, are limited in scalability, and don't allow remote reconfiguration.
Applications can be designed starting from the most basic to the most complex: telemetry, logistics, multiple connectivity, external/internal data transmission and acquisition, sending information and/or notices by SMS or email, etc. The only limit is the imagination of each customer.
  • Distributed Geopositioning
Vista 3G16 is not dependent on a chipset or module responsible for managing GPS data as are similar devices; this is just an optional peripheral in the hardware platform. The Vista 3G16 powerful algorithms allow position tracking using GSM cell information with an accuracy which, in many cases, exceeds the required needs.
  • Intended to be Connected
The Vista 3G16 has 5 serial ports, a CAN port, and an I2C port; giving it the capability of a powerful computer providing vast integration possibilities with car and truck computers; connecting temperature measurement modules, i-Button module, GARMIN display and cameras.
  • Unification of Powers
48 channel SiRF IV with Jammer Remover, Quad Band Telit Module with Jammer Detection and Python Script, CPU ARM Cortex™-M4 - 32bits. The combination of these powerful components gives the Vista 3G16 a unique position in the marketplace.
  • Flexibility
The Vista 3G16 has a powerful programming language that allows you to perform mathematical and logical operations, even complex logical operations. If that isn’t enough, you can even program your own functions through Python with a 2MB program memory and 1.2MB RAM. “This is not your father’s GPS system.”
  • Storage Capacity
One of the greatest advantages of this device is its VERY HIGH STORAGE CAPACITY of information. LOG memory for storage of a massive number of reports (45,000 reports); plus the option of adding an 8GB microSD memory card where images captured by means of video cameras can be stored. Save up to 5 years of second-to-second information.
  • Robustness and Reliability
Vista 3G16 stands out among its competitors because it combines high quality components, state-of-the-art hardware design, extremely stable firmware, strict control of production process, scalable performance and compliance with the most demanding automotive standards. If you want a solution that will help pinpoint areas to reduce costs and improve your data collection capability, Vista 3G16 is the answer.
You will have a reliable, flexible and competitively priced tracking and data collection system to help you cut costs, improve safety and efficiency.
  • Integrated Intelligence
Vista 3G16 has the ability to assess situations and generate actions/reports in response to those situations. The device is highly intelligent and will report on any important information about your vehicles.
  • Connectivity
Possesses multiprotocol support which gives you the ability to connect through different types of devices such as cellphones, digital satellite transceivers, and two-way radios.
Vista 3G16 also has dual SIM configuration; giving you the option to switch between different phone providers or connect with ORBCOMM satellite modems or INMARSAT.
Vista 3G16 allows you to be connected by different means and devices; giving you the ability to “see” your fleet at all times.
  • Communications Control
Our system gives you the ability to configure the type and the means of communication between the Vista 3G16 and the base, as well as, the waiting intervals, time, duration, number of attempts, etc.
You decide what is best for your operation and when and how the device communicates with your base.
  • Power Manager
Enables the proper functioning of the device even when the vehicle’s engine is off, taking advantage of its low power mode.
Whether the individual vehicles are ON or OFF, you can always have an “eye” on them.
  • Management and Logistics
Vista 3G16 offers a complete and effective solution for analyzing, processing, and storing information related to the journey, state of the vehicle, and information about your drivers.
It collects essential data needed for a better assessment of your fleet.
  • Messages Control
Vista 3G16 has the built-in capability to send, receive, and manage text messages.
Important information about position and other reports can be sent to 2 configurable SMS destinations.
  • Voice Calls
It has the capacity to establish a phone connection for voice calls and the ability to automate this feature with others in the system.
  • Access Code
This assures that the setup, programming, and the information stored in the equipment can only be accessed by authorized users.
The access code increases the security of your system and information.
  • Authenticity of Reports/Messages Sent
The Vista 3G16 is equipped with the capability of issuing a digital signature to each message sent in order to establish the authenticity of those packets. This feature, if enabled, eliminates the possibility of receiving incorrect or malicious data within the global network packets.
You can rest assured the information being reported is authentic.
  • Digital Inputs and Outputs
Vista 3G16 has digital inputs for connection of various sensors or keys that can be used to trigger events. At the same time, the digital outputs can be configured for the management of power of devices such as sirens, locked doors, relays etc.
  • Analog Inputs
Two inputs can be used for processing analog signals. For example: sensors, resistive ties, etc. You can set permitted range windows to analyze their states.
  • 3-Axis Motion Sensor
Allows you to detect any alterations in position and/or vibration even while the engine is OFF (whether it be that it is being towed or has started to shift). Even in low power mode, a report could be sent to the base.
  • Detection and Condition of GSM Cells
It is useful to be able to know the status of the GSM cells with which the device is interacting. In many cases, the position could be obtained based on an estimation of the position of the main cell as well as the neighbouring cells.
  • Garmin Fleet-Management
We have the ability to integrate the interface and control messages offered by the Garmin products into our platform.
  • Geographical Grids
The ability of the Vista 3G16 to process data and complex equations, as well as giving you exclusive control of a microSD memory and creating different partitions in it, allows for the processing of large maps (up to 4GB) with sections pre-set in real time. It not only supports 1 map; we incorporate the possibility of up to 2 (4GB) maps with GeoGrids (geographical grids).
  • BCM (Battery Charge Management)
It is of the utmost importance for a device that works with batteries to have a proper charge/discharge manager in order to optimize the performance and avoid “stress” caused to the battery by trying to maintain a 100% charge. Causing battery stress will damage the battery to an extent to which it won’t be able to maintain a full charge. Our device has the possibility to configure power consumption according to the needs and/or performance level required; extending battery life.
